Dear Cesar,

It’s been two weeks since our windows were installed. We love them!!!! We have the best windows in Ronkonkoma. Our In line High Ranch truly stands out from all the rest. Your design ideas were wonderful. You were so helpful to us during the purchasing process… We shopped around before we came to Royal, and no one took the time that you took in discussing not only your products, but the vision that we had for our home. You made it seem doable. Your enthusiasm is contagious!

You took a bland home and made it amazing. The “Builder’s Bay” in our living room and dining room were extended by ten inches. Since the windows are located on the second story of our home, it feels as though we are living in a tree house with glass walls. The view is just stunning. The architectural design is so fantastic that I am having a hard time deciding on window treatments, because Ken and I do not want to hide any of the beautiful hand tooled work done by Chris.. He dropped each window to assure that there was room to put moldings along the top of the window… I knew something was missing from my old windows and Chris very nicely told me in a word what it was: STYLE!!! You guys are a great team.

I asked you about extending my kitchen window and you advised us to put in an awning window instead with full moldings. For the first time in 25 years we are living in the home, I can actually reach my window and open it! The window style change gave the kitchen the look we wanted. The only problem is now I want to change the cabinets!!!!

The other rooms look great too, but the best window is our new Casement Bow window in the den. Our den is a long narrow room and I always disliked the windows along the back wall. We considered putting in doors, but we were not sure if that was what we wanted. You showed us the Casement Bow window on display in the showroom and we were sold! This was the first window placed in our home. The finishing work is just remarkable. The interior molding is breath taking..

Chris made the work look easy. He had to contend with a very tall house built on a hill. He helped remove fencing, moved wires and dealt with rainy days. We felt so comfortable having both of you in our home. His helper was also very good at his job. I have never had this type of experience before with work being done in our home.

The price for what we had done was very reasonable… and the outcome was worth every dime… I hope that you share this letter with the owners of Royal Window and give me an address where I can write them directly about our great experience. WE love the showroom, because you have real windows on real walls, and you can actually see how the finished product will look. Cesar, you redesigned our home and we will always be grateful for this expe1ience

New Door Installation – 6/27/11. Miller Place NY

On June 27, 2011 the old sliding door was removed and a new door was installed. The old door was 105” wide. We wanted to keep the same opening so as to not lessen the effect of the view. It was considerably more expensive than a standard size door. The old door was 3 panels: 2 fixed side panels and a center slider. The new door is 2 panel-only one divider in the center. What a difference that made. It’s like having the whole view come inside. What a pleasant, unexpected surprise.

Our Sales consultant was Cesar. From the beginning, he answered all our questions and kept telling us of both the pros and cons of our choices. This helped us to make the right decisions. He reassured us that he would look in on the installation. One of our main concerns was that there was a serious leak over the first floor sliding door which was directly below and identical to the old door. Several times the upper door was caulked all over but with no success. Cesar assured us that the leak would be stopped with the new installation.

Installation time. Chris and Raoul were the team. From the beginning, Chris gave us confidence with the answers to our questions. It was obvious that Chris was experienced and very competent. Raoul gave the same impression as his helper. Throughout the removal and installation, I had questions. Chris patiently and courtesy answered them. Towards the end of the removal, Cesar showed up. Both he and Chris discussed the installation and agreed. Cesar left as the installation started. The installation was completed. My questions and concerns as to why there was a leak and how to prevent it from happening were put to rest by Chris. Chris did very slight damage to the sheet rock and plastered wall on either side of the opening on the inside. An almost impossible task after I saw the work required to remove the old door. At the end, he ripped some trim pieces to be put on the inside, around the new door. He also had to remove a drapery rod above the door and reinstall it.

All in all excellent work!

As far as the leak goes, there have not been any rainstorms coming from a Northly direction off the Sound equal to the ones that produced the leak. However, I believe that there will not be any leaks.

We are so pleased with the effect the new door gives, that we now want to replace the door below it. Cesar will be here tomorrow, 7/11. We plan to put the house on the market next year and feel that the effect of the vastly improved view from inside the room is worth it. We have no reservations about the quality of the installation of Chris and Raoul. We have had several windows replaced and a wall opened up to install an 80″ Picture window. The contractor had to come back twice to fix leaks. Wish that we knew of Royal then. We were recommended to you by Christopher Pirato of Glassland Inc. in Port Jefferson Station. One of the best recommendations we have had.

We are not easy customers. We have expectations and often we are disappointed. Promises are made and not fulfilled. Jobs are rushed, workmanship is shoddy, products are inferior. It has come to the point where we dread starting projects on the house.

Just when we were losing faith altogether, we found Royal. The patience and commitment you demonstrated in your effort to satisfy us, was unsurpassed. You could have offered empty words like everyone else, but instead delivered the goods as promised.

The doors are magnificent! They change the entire look of the house. Beautifully designed, meticulously crafted, solid and secure, they have transformed the entryway both inside and out. The color turned out just as we had hoped, and the hardware and moldings are stunning. The installation was flawless. Chris and Raul took their time and executed the job to perfection.

Company and personal problems delayed the writing of this letter. In early December you completed the installation of our porch windows. We cannot believe the difference that this has made in our heating bills, our extended use of the porch and the unencumbered vista.

My husband is much better at visualizing drawings than I am. I need to see things and therefore, put my trust in your suggestions completely. I was not disappointed. You merged both James and my desires into a wonderfully finished product. We are both delighted with the outcome.

Your expertise in the measurements made the windows go in without a hitch. In addition, we must commend the professionalism of the installation team. This entire process was an exceptional experience, and we would highly recommend the Commack team of Royal Windows and Doors.

I should have sent this some time ago but ……………..

From measurement to installation was 9 weeks, just as figured. Your opinion and assistance given (we needed both for good decision making) turned everything out better than planned. Front door Color coordinated perfectly with the newly finished Cedar Shakes, just as you predicted. There were praises and compliments all over the place as all who saw it, from the Halloween gang parents traveling with their kids to my own guests through the Christmas Holidays asking who/where did the job. I even left your sign out there for quite some time. The Keystone looks sharp too.

Chris and Raul did a great job with the installation, both of which knew what and how to do a perfect job. Chris didn’t mind me watching him from time to time as I also asked questions. The problem you noticed when doing the measurements for the side door Chris also saw, and knowing his Trade well was able to install the side door perfectly square and so secure that it will probably outlast the house. After this, the Rear door was a piece of cake.

We are extremely satisfied with the whole project. The doors feel even more stronger than the ones on display. The quality can be easily felt.

Expect to see you soon for Shutters.

Dear George,

We are loving our new front entry door, windows, and siding all around the house. It is indeed a blessing that we walked into your showroom that summer Sunday afternoon, after a long and arduous pursuit of the proper person to renovate our house and home. Actually, at the time we first met, we were strictly shopping for an entry door since we had tentatively planned to sign with a reputable, local contractor for our windows and siding. The extensive and full size display of doors and glass samples enabled us to see actual models rather than trying to envision them from photos in catalogs. Since a high end door was a significant purchase for us, we expected good value and excellence not only in appearance but in its manufacturing and engineering details for proper functionality and longevity. Your comprehensive and factual presentation and demonstrations provided the reasons we sought to select a Royal door over that of another well known, longstanding company.

Some weeks later, as we were exiting the showroom after signing the door contract, our attention casually shifted to the windows on display. The windows’ clean lines were appealing and just as due diligence, we cranked the casement windows and liked the solid feel of the unit and the mechanism. After you demonstrated the window operation and gave us an inside look into its construction, you offered us literature on the advantages of uPVC and energy specifications to examine at our leisure. We took time to re-evaluate and reconsider all our window options and ultimately chose Royal windows to replace our 48 year old aluminum sliders.

Then, we focused on the remaining exterior remodeling piece, namely that of siding. You showed us photos of your special wrapping and insulation taping techniques and use of high quality materials for vinyl siding installations. Needless to say we were impressed once again and decided to complete our remodeling trifecta by having Royal complete the siding with a “new installation” method for the windows. This provided a more streamlined look and more secure installation. All in all, during our three month relationship, we appreciated your intimate knowledge and pride in all your products and techniques and you made us feel that we were in a partnership on this project and that you had our best interests in mind. Thankfully we were never pressured into making hasty choices or selecting options beyond our budget allowance.

Your personal attention to detail and precision, and patient explanation of your product and processes won us over, to say nothing of your pleasing personality. The actual work was performed on time and as promised – there were no concerns on our part, and we remained worry-free. This was particularly important for us since we both work and maintaining a strict schedule and minimizing rework was critical. Chris and Andres were on the job promptly every day and created a new beautiful look to our home. Though Andres was always concentrating on his work, he was nevertheless accessible at all times, and willing to accommodate our every request.

We are so happy that we decided to enlarge the living room window – it is beautiful as well on the inside where Andres finished off the framing. The compliments on our new beautiful house have been many – it has certainly been a transformation. We almost do not recognize our own home.

Thank you for work well done! Thank you, George, also for spending time at our house during the work and ensuring everything was off to a good start and continued that way, and for keeping in constant touch throughout the renovation effort.
